Arbour Lake has a population of 10,836 living in 3,918 dwellings.  Residents in this community have a median household income of $70,590, and there are 7.4% low income residents living in the neighbourhood.

Beloved for its namesake 10-acre lake, which is stocked with rainbow trout for fishing and gives local families a spot to swim and canoe in the summer or ice skate and play hockey in the winter. These activities are available exclusively to the residence of Arbour Lake and their guests only.

Arbour Lake has offered residents inner-city-like living in thefar suburbs with loads of amenities and quick access to plenty more. The new Crowfoot LRT station provides easy access to public transit, while having major routes like John Laurie Boulevard, Crowchild Trail, Stoney Trail and Nose Hill Drive on its perimeter means most destinations around Calgary are relatively accessible.

Arbour Lake is truly a community that has it all. Located next to Crowfoot Crossing, one of the largest outdoor malls in Calgary, residents of Arbour Lake have access to over 240 shops and services. Within Crowfoot Crossing are many dining, shopping and entertainment options, including:

Market Mall is the nearest regional shopping centre (~8.4 Km), and the new CrossIron Mills Mall is about 28 minutes away by car (~25 Km).

Recreation opportunities abound in Arbour Lake, with swimming, boating, fishing & skating just to name a few. Within the community is the newly built Crowfoot Library offering stunning mountain views and access to resources for learning, enrichment & enjoyment. There is a state of the art YMCAlocated at Crowfoot as well as walking paths, ravines, and greenbelts which make this a very walk friendly community.

At the heart of the community is the Arbour Lake Community Centre which runs several programs throughout the winter and summer.
