Hidden Valley home for sale

Blog by Kim Twohey | April 29th, 2017

If you have not been to the northwest Calgary neighbourhood of Hidden Valley, you are truly missing out!  This charming and established neighbourhood is easily accessible via several major Calgary roadways including Stoney Trail, Country Hills Boulevard, Beddington Trail, and Shaganappi Trail.  This well-planned neighbourhood successfully marries the charm of a close-knit community with access to every amenity imaginable.  There are three schools in the neighbourhood and many families are close enough to enjoy walking to school.

Popular with professionals and families, one of the best things about this neighbourhood is its location.  Regardless of where you work in the city, it is easy to get to the major roadways that will take you there.  When you come home, you can leave the bustle of the city behind and relax in this quiet community.  Enjoy leisurely strolls and wave to your neighbours as you visit one of the 19 parks and playgrounds or watch a soccer game at playing fields scattered throughout the neighbourhood.  There are trails and a treasure trove of geocaches in the area.

Shopping, amenities, services, and restaurants are literally minutes from Hidden Valley.  Residents can visit shopping areas including Crowfoot Crossing, Beacon Heights Shopping Centre, Country Hills Town Centre, Beddington Towne Centre, and Creekside Shopping Centre just to name a few!

Great recreation opportunities are minutes from your Hidden Valley home.  Hike or bike through Nose Hill Park.  Golf at the Hamptons Golf Club, Country Hills Golf Club, Beddington Golf Park, or Stone Creek Adventure Golf.  There are numerous family-oriented recreation facilities and libraries nearby to enjoy.

One of my favourite things about Hidden Valley is that it truly has a sense of community that all residents can be a part of.  The Hidden Valley Community Association actively promotes inclusion and activities for residents.  They run events such as an annual Easter egg hunt, winter festival, family kite festival, bottle drives, fundraisers, and community BBQs.

With stunning northern views of the city, this Hidden Valley home is ideal for anyone who appreciates the beauty of Calgary.  Natural light floods the open concept main floor.  There is a generous kitchen paired with a living room and dining room.  Enjoy time outside with family and friends in the landscaped backyard.  You can relax on the lower covered patio or enjoy full sun from the upper deck and in the yard.  Upstairs there is a charming bonus room, large master bedroom with a generous ensuite, and two additional bedrooms.  Space is plentiful in this home!
