The excitement around Canada’s upcoming milestone birthday is mounting in Calgary and the surrounding areas.  Here are just a few of the events happening around Calgary to celebrate Canada’s 150th birthday.

In Calgary, there are events happening from dawn until dusk across the entire city.  The City of Calgary has compiled a handy quick reference guide to help you plan your Canada Day in the city.  Check it out here.  According to the City of Calgary, this year’s celebrations are expected to be bigger and better than ever before.  The city is promising “the most vibrant, entertaining, educational, and interactive Canada Day our city has ever seen”.

End the momentous day by enjoying exciting Canada Day fireworks.  Weather permitting, fireworks will start at 11:00 pm and will launch into the sky above the Centre Street Bridge.  There are plenty of spots where you will be able to catch a great view including
