Hidden Valley has a population of11,799 living in 3,867 dwellings.  Residents in this community have a median household income of $78,127 in 2000, and there are 6.4% low income residents living in the neighbourhood.

There are nineteen parks and playgrounds (plus a few off-leash dog parks) in the neighbourhood alone, giving residents plenty of room for relaxation and recreation. Access to and from the community is a breeze, bordered by Beddington and Shaganappi Trail, Country Hills Blvd and Stoney Trail, offering quick access to Deerfoot Trail.
