I might be a little biased but I think Calgary is one of the most beautiful cities in Canada!  There are so many interesting buildings as well as man-made and natural areas.  I have put together a list for you of different neighbourhoods that have some of my favourite views.

Briar Hill/Hounsfield Heights:  This northwest community has excellent views of the downtown Calgary skyline and the south part of the city.

Crescent Heights:  At the top of that infamous tortuous staircase, is Crescent Heights.  Homes and walking paths in this area have expansive views of the river valley, the downtown Calgary skyline, the south part of the city, and Prince’s Island Park.

Rosedale: A jaunt along the escarpment in the northwest community of Rosedale will give you views of the downtown skyline and across south Calgary.

Altadore:  One of my favourite things about the southwest community of Altadore is the panoramic view of downtown Calgary and the rest of the city for as far as the eye can see.

Glendale:  Located in southwest Calgary, Glendale has some spectacular views of the majestic Rocky Mountains.

Parkhill/Stanley Park:  The southwest community of Parkhill/Stanley Park is perfect for people who want a great view of the Bow River and beyond.

Scarboro:  The charming southwest community of Scarboro has excellent panoramic views of downtown Calgary and the north part of the city.

Spruce Cliff:  Located in southwest Calgary, Spruce Cliff offers views of north Calgary and the river valley.

Ramsay:  I think Ramsay offers some of the best panoramic views of the city and you can even see the iconic Saddledome!  This is the place to come if you want to snap some really great pictures of Calgary.

Fairview:  Aptly named, the southeast community of Fairview has excellent views of the Rocky Mountains!

Silver Springs:  Located in northwest Calgary, Silver Springs has an extensive trail system that offers incredible views of the river, Canada Olympic Park, and the Rocky Mountains.

Edgemont:  Perched high above the city, the northwest neighbourhood of Edgemont has the best views of Nosehill Park, downtown Calgary, and the Rocky Mountains.

Tuscany:  Many of the homes in the northwest community of Tuscany offer unobstructed views of the Rocky Mountains.  Doing the dishes does not seem like such a chore when you can stare at the mountains while you are working!
