Nolan Hill

One thing I love about driving into the NW Calgary community of Nolan Hill is the cool architectural feature that looks like castle ruins!  This master-planned community pulls its inspiration from the Irish countryside.  There are tons of greenspaces as well as beautiful ravines and pathways.  Located on the north edge of Calgary, this community offers quick access to Sarcee Trail, Shaganappi Trail, Symons Valley Parkway, and 144 Avenue NW.  There are plenty of amenities located directly within Nolan Hill including a medical clinic, grocery store, and restaurants.  Schools and more amenities are close by in neighbouring communities.  This is a great NW Calgary neighbourhood to check out if you are looking for a townhouse, single-family home with rear parking, or a home with a front attached garage.

Sage Hill

Nestled in between Nolan Hill and Evanston, is the lovely NW Calgary community of Sage Hill.  Sage Hill has green spaces, playgrounds, and a pathway system that you can enjoy year-round.  Nose Creek runs through this community and there is a beautiful pond in the northeast corner of the neighbourhood.  There are stores, services, and plenty of places to eat in Sage Hill.  The Sage Hill City Market is a great spot to get your groceries, prescriptions, and more!   All your other needs can be easily and quickly accessed in the nearby communities.  If you are looking for a home with stunning prairie and ravine views, then Sage Hill might be a great place for you!  From apartment-style condominiums to townhomes and a variety of single family home styles, there is something for every lifestyle in Sage Hill!

Symons Valley

Symons Valley is comprised of several communities including Evanston, Kincora, Nolan Hill, Sage Hill, and Sherwood.  This area is popular because of the multitude of services, shops, and restaurants.  Residents enjoy easy access to major roadways, including Stoney Trail.  Right now, Symons Valley Park is being developed.  This park will include trails, a multi-purpose all-season rink, several sports courts, a bicycle skills park, a playground, an amphitheatre, and more!  Offering a wide range of housing styles and price points, Symons Valley is a great place to start the search for your next home.
